Kharar, April 7

The Kharar administration today sealed five villages falling within 3-km radius of Chatamli village in Ropar district. The villages include are Goslan, Kalewal, Badanpur, Barouli and Singhpura.

A person suffering from Chatamli was tested Covid-19 positive and has been admitted at a hospital in Chandigarh.

Kharar SDM Himanshu Jain said all these villages fall under Kharar sub-division. He said all residents of these were being examined. He said entry and exit of residents from these villages has been banned and essentials would be supplied to villagers.
