A five-year-old was crushed under the wheels of a truck and her grandfather was injured when the two-wheeler they were riding on was hit from behind by a truck on the service lane in Dera Bassi on yesterday afternoon.
The deceased, Araadhya, a student of LKG, was returning home from school in Saraswati Vihar with her grandfather, Upesh Bansal.
