6 dead in Chandigarh, 620 new Covid cases

Chandigarh: The city reported 620 new Covid cases and six deaths on Monday. The active case tally now stands at 7,382 and the toll has reached 641. As many as 876 more patients have recovered from the virus. TNS

11 deaths, 889 cases in Mohali

Mohali: Eleven persons succumbed to the virus in the district in the past 24 hours, taking the death toll to 771. A total of 889 fresh cases were reported, while 938 more patients were cured. Of the 61,490 cases reported so far, 52,062 patients have been cured. There are now 8,657 active cases in the district. TNS

Record 9 deaths in Panchkula

Panchkula: Panchkula recorded nine Covid deaths on Monday, the highest single day toll in the district since March last year. The fatality count in the district has gone up to 294, while the infection count went up to 27,807 with the addition of 241 fresh cases. There are 2,219 active cases in the district while 25,294 patients have been cured. TNS
