Mohali on Monday recorded 63 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the caseload in the district to 10,963.

Civil Surgeon Dr Manjit Singh said no deaths reported in the district in the past 24 hours.

Dr Singh said of the 63 fresh cases, 48 were reported from Mohali (Urban), six from Dera Bassi, three each from Kharar and Lalru, two from Banuri and one from Gharuan.

He added that 163 persons were cured and discharged from various hospitals across the district.

As of now, there are 1,431 active cases in Mohali while 9,332 have been cured and discharged to date. The district has reported 200 deaths so far.
