MLA Lakhbir Singh Rai today distributed loan waiver certificates worth Rs 90 lakh among 68 Scheduled Caste (SC) families of Fatehgarh Sahib constituency at a function here today.

Addressing the gathering, the MLA said the Punjab Government had fulfilled its promise by waiving loans worth around Rs 67 crore taken by the SC community. He said it was a long-pending demand of the SC community that their loans be waived. — OC
