Ambala division of the Northern Railway has provided 70 porters at Ambala Railway Station with ration. Harvinder Kaur, president of Northern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (NRWWO), Ambala Division, gave each porter (Rail Sahayak) 10-kg atta, 5-kg rice,1-kg edible oil,1-kg sugar, 250-gram tea, 2-kg dal and 1 packet of salt.

Harvinder Kaur said all members and office-bearers of NRWWO contemplated owning the responsibility of assisting such persons in need.

Divisional Railway Manager Gurinder Mohan Singhsaid division would be doing the same in coming times too. TNS
