The number of active Covid-19 cases in the city reached 725 with 79 fresh infections reported on Monday. The city also witnessed one death due to Covid-19, taking the toll to 356. The UT case tally stands at 22,397. —TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
