Chandigarh: The owners of eight more immigration consultancy companies have been booked for not providing information to the police. A total of 67 company owners have been booked for the offence in the past few days. Cops carried out a check of consultancy companies operating in the area of the Sector 39 police station and found eight companies in Sector 37, 38 and 40 operating without providing information to the police. As per the District Magistrate’s orders, the companies operating in the city are supposed to give certain set of information to the police. Cases under Section 188 of the IPC has been registered against the owners of the eight firms at the Sector 39 police station. TNS
