Nine more people died due to Covid in the district during the past 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths to 715. Meanwhile, 1,019 persons were diagnosed with the disease till Tuesday evening while 258 patients have got better of it.
Among the new cases, 423 came from Mohali (urban), nine from Kurali, 11 from Lalru, 21 from Banur, 38 from Boothgarh, 60 from Gharuan, 122 from Dera Bassi, 133 from Kharar and 202 from the Dhakoli area of Zirakpur. — TNS
