Panchkula: As many as 94 healthcare workers received the first jab of the Covid-19 vaccine against a target of 190 on Thursday.

The two sites where the vaccination drive was held were Alchemist Hospital and Paras Hospital.

The coverage rate on the ninth day of the vaccination drive stood at 49.5 per cent. On Wednesday, the vaccination coverage was 54.2 per cent.

At an achievement rate of 60.4 per cent, 2,922 healthcare professionals have got the first jab so far. As many as 6,219 health workers – 3,541 government and 2,678 private professionals – have been identified for the first phase of the drive. — TNS
