andigarh: The city reported 249 new cases of Covid-19 and one death on Wednesday, taking the number of active cases to 2,178. The total number of cases in the UT has reached 25,130 and the toll 365. A total of 136 more patients were reportedly cured. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
