AAP leaders slam Centre, BBMB over decision to release 8,500 cusec water to Haryana
AAP leaders and supporters today staged a protest against the Centre and the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) at Phase 7, Mohali, over their move to release 8,500 cusecs additional water to Haryana from the Bhakra Dam.
AAP district planning committee chairperson Prabhjot Kaur flayed the BBMB for allocating 8500 cusec excess water to Haryana without taking the Punjab Government in confidence.
“Punjab has already given excess water to Haryana. There is no water to share now,” she said.
