Chandigarh, January 19

The Samarthan Social Welfare Society conducted an activity with specially abled persons at Mamta Foundation, Gillco Valley, Kharar.

The participants portrayed their feelings on paper with colours and top three winners were awarded. Volunteers of the society also distributed sweets and fruits among them. Society president Arti Rana said: “Spending time with these people was a good experience. We can help them with earning livelihood. A psychologist of the society will visit once a week and counsel them.”

Mamta Foundation president Renu Kakkar said: “I am grateful to the volunteers of the Samarthan Social Welfare Society for coming forward to help and encourage the specially abled people.”
