The city is all set to celebrate International Yoga Day at Sector 17 and Rock Garden on June 21. Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria will be the chief guest at the event in Tiranga Park, Sector 17.

This year marks the successful completion of a decade of International Yoga Day celebrations across the globe. The event is expected to witness participation by around 1,800 citizens, including students, elderly persons, government employees, yoga enthusiasts, police personnel and civil defence volunteers.

The state-level events and yoga sessions will also be held at 140 locations across the city. UT Chief Secretary, Rajeev Verma today reviewed and finalised the preparations.
