The Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory as major construction work is set to begin on the road stretch from Housing Board, Kalka, to Kherawali.

According to Surajpur Traffic SHO Abhishek, road construction from Housing Board Kalka through Tagra, Bharat Nagar, Majra Mehtab and Paploha up to Kherawali will result in partial traffic restrictions from December 10 to 16. The movement of heavy vehicles will be strictly regulated, and they must use designated diversion routes.

Heavy vehicles travelling from Kalka towards Paploha–Kherawali have been advised to take the Pinjore–Charaniya route. Those heading towards Kalka from Kherawali should travel via Charaniya–Kiratpur, then proceed through Pinjore and onwards to Kalka. Drivers of smaller vehicles have also been requested to avoid the stretch.
