The Audit General (AG), Punjab, team recorded a 2-0 win over AG Delhi to win the North Zone IA&AD Football Tournament at the Sector 46 sports complex. The local team remained in the commanding position right from the starting whistle and posted the opening goal just in the fourth minute. Rahul put the ball over the goal line to give the side an early lead.

In the 23rd minute Chetan Thakur posted the second goal for the side. The AG, Punjab, lads managed to defend the lead. Both, AG, Punjab and Delhi have qualified for the inter-zonal competitions of the IA&AD.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
