Air Commodore Rajeev Shrivastava has taken over as the Air Officer Commanding, No. 3 Base Repair Depot (3BRD) at Chandigarh.

Commissioned in the Aeronautical Engineering Branch of the IAF in March 1991, he has held numerous important field and staff appointments that include Commanding Officer of No.2 Tettra School, Chief of Aircraft at 3BRD and Chief Engineering Officer at Air Force Station, Mumbai.

He has served with the United Nations Mission in Congo from 2004-2005 and has trained on Mi-17 IV helicopter.

An alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and College of Defence Management, Hyderabad, he has been awarded the Chief of the Air Staff Commendation twice.
