Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former minister Surjit Singh Rakhra welcomed the first meeting of the monitoring committee formed for the recruitment of party workers. He termed the unity of all members as a hope to strengthen the representative class of the Panth and nation in future.
Rakhra said all members of the committee had given hope to the Akali workers. “All workers have great hopes from this seven-member monitoring committee that when the recruitment process will begin, it will make the party reach new heights.” He reiterated his commitment to extending his support to the panel. He said the SAD was the representative class of the nation and he would always work to strengthen SAD’s base.
