The two-day CPEX- Chandigarh Pet Expo 2024 and 76th All Breed Dog & Horse Show concluded today at the Parade Ground, Sector 17. Inaugurated by Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development of Punjab, the event showcased more than 500 dogs of 30 different breeds participating in fun and competitive activities.

The jury included four national and international members each. The show was organised by CAT Consult in association with Chandigarh Kennel Club, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Gadvasu) and Small Animals Clinicians Association. The event invited top dogs and breeders from across the North India, featured more than 50 exhibitors.

“Events like these help pet owners interact with veterinarians and get insights from the pet industry,” said Hardeep Singh, founder and CEO of CAT Consults. Raminder Singh, CEO, Cat Consult, mentioned that Chandigarh Pet Expo was a model event to spread awareness on protection of birds and animals.
