According to the prosecution, on February 8 last year, a police patrolling team in Sector 29 saw a man coming towards Tribune Chowk around 10:30 pm. He was holding a blue polythene bag in his hand. On seeing cops, he turned around and started walking quickly.

Cops got suspicious and apprehended him. On checking, they found 75 Buprenorphine (2ml each) and 75 Pheniramine Maleate (10ml each) injections in the polythene bag. As he could not produce a licence or permit to carry the vials, a case under the NDPS Act was registered against him.
