After the conference, Shah will inaugurate three government school buildings at Mauli Jagran and lay the foundation stone for a multi-level parking adjoining the District Courts Complex in Sector 43. The State Environment Impact Assessment Authority has issued the environment clearance for the establishment of the parking.

The UT had approved a proposal to set up a multilevel parking to accommodate 1,278 vehicles. This complex will have one basement and three floors. There will be provision for parking vehicles on the terrace too.

Later, Shah will attend ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ events at Sukhna Lake before leaving for New Delhi. On his previous visit to Chandigarh on March 27, Shah had inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various projects.
