The Sunanda Sharma-Pinky Dhaliwal controversy took a fresh turn on Thursday as another Punjabi singer levelled allegations of fraud.

In a police complaint filed against Gurkaran Dhaliwal and Pinky Dhaliwal, directors of Sky Digital India Pvt Ltd, Kaka accused them of fraud, breach of trust and violations under the Copyright Act and IT Act. Ravinder Singh, who goes by the name of Kaka in the music circuit, started his professional career in 2020.

Addressing the media, Kaka alleged that many artistes in the Punjabi music industry were being cheated in various ways. “Misguidance and false hopes are common occurrences,” he claimed.
