Apaar Sood of Saupin’s School, Sector 32, was adjudged best player of the boys’ U-17 final during the recently concluded Sardar Bhagwant Singh Memorial Basketball Trophy organised by Vivek High School at the Sector 78 sports complex in Mohali.

In the boys’ U-14 category, Gurmat Singh of Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, bagged the top honour, while Jai Pratap of Vivek High School, Sector 38, claimed the boys’ U-12 title for contributing maximum points in the team’s win. Nimar, who represented Yadavindra Public School, bagged the top honour in the girls’ U-17 category, while Samaya of Sacred Heart School, Sector 26, won the best performing player in the girls’ U-14 category final. In the girls’ U-12 final Sanvi Narang of Learning Paths School, Mohali, emerged the best performer.
