The second day of the Chandigarh Carnival at Leisure Valley in Sector 10 witnessed an energetic turnout as visitors enjoyed cultural performances, art workshops, live demonstrations, craft displays and a vibrant food court.

The ongoing special exhibition Mystical Confluence at the Government Museum & Art Gallery, featuring works by Jang Hee Mun and Devendra Shukla, also received an enthusiastic response from art lovers. The Tribune is the media sponsor for the event.

The highlight of the day was a captivating live performance by renowned Punjabi singer Harbhajan Mann, who enthralled the audience with his popular hits including “Gallan Goriyan,” “Oye Hoye,” “Yaara o Dildara” and other crowd favourites.

The event was attended by Swapnil M Naik, Secretary Personnel & Establishment; Pardeep Kumar, Special Commissioner, Municipal Corporation; Radhika Singh, Director Tourism and other senior officers of the Chandigarh Administration.

The carnival will conclude on November 16.
