Members of the Chandigarh and Tricity Gym Association today protested against the closure of gyms.

The UT Administration issued a notification on January 6 to close all gyms, stadium and swimming pools.

The association members said this time various other services such as spas, massage parlours, restaurants, bars, multiplexes, cinema halls, malls and all other markets are allowed to open with 50 per cent capacity, but only gyms were told to shut down.

They demanded to open gyms also with 50 per cent capacity while maintaining Covid protocols.
