Panchkula: A 52-year-old man with a travel history to Delhi has tested positive for Covid-19, taking the tally of the district to 27. He is a journalist with an English daily in the National Capital and lives in a rented accommodation in Sector 12-A. He is admitted to an isolation ward at the Civil Hospital, Sector 6. Dr Rajiv Narwal, nodal officer for Covid in the district, said, “The infected person went to Lajpat Nagar in Delhi in the first week of May and arrived in Panchkula last week. We have isolated and tested eight immediate contacts, including his wife and son.” Now, there is only one active case in Panchkula district.
