BJP councillor Gurcharan Singh Kala has joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Chandigarh AAP leader Damanpreet Singh said.

Interestingly, Kala had left the Congress to join the BJP last year.

Meanwhile, Kala’s son filed a police complaint against an AAP candidate for allegedly kidnapping his father as his phone number was not reachable for the past few days.

In a video released, Kala said his family has been misled into believing that he had been kidnapped.
