Addressing public meetings in support of Congress candidates in various wards in the city, Rajinder Rana, Congress coordinator for the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections, said withered faces of BJP leaders proved that the condition of the saffron party was poor and people had made up their mind for a change.

Rana said despite running the corporation

for six years, the BJP could not fulfil its poll promises and Chandigarh had been lagging behind in terms of development and cleanliness.
