Body found in Kurali rivulet
Mohali: A highly decomposed body was found in Dusarna rivulet in Kurali on Thursday. Passersby saw the body in the rivulet from a bridge and informed the police. Cops said the body seemed to be three-four days old. The matter was being investigated, they said. TNS
Youth held with 52-gram heroin
Chandigarh: The crime cell of the Chandigarh police has arrested Jaspreet Singh, alias Jassu (25), a resident of Ludhiana district, with 52 gram of heroin. He was nabbed near a gas agency in Sector 25. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against him at the Sector 11 police station.
