Deputy Commissioner Monika Gupta today instructed the SDO of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) to register FIRs against those illegally occupying shops near Mata Mansa Devi temple and ensure early removal of all encroachments.

She inspected a stretch from the Gurdwara underpass to Mata Mansa Devi temple under a sanitation drive. She reviewed cleanliness and the condition of the road. She directed the officials concerned to beautify the area, ensure cleanliness and repair potholes on the roads.

The DC directed the Executive Engineer of Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority (PMDA) to undertake beautification and upkeep of parks. She ordered to blacklist the hired sanitation agency if it failed to maintain the parks and an alternative agency be engaged for the work.

The DC solicited public support to the cleanliness campaign, asking them to click a a photograph of filth in their area and send it via WhatsApp to 9696120120. The Municipal Corporation team would then ensure cleaning of the place within 24 hours.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav, DCP Srishti Gupta, SDM Chandrakant Kataria, MC Joint Commissioner Gaurav Chauhan, ACP Surender Singh, PMDA Executive Engineers Virendra Singh and Arvind, HSVP SDO Balraj, CSI Avinash, councillor Suresh Verma were present.
