Briefly: Flights delayed

Flight operations were delayed at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh, due to low visibility in the morning. All morning flights (arrival and departure) were behind schedule by around half an hour.

Taps stolen from Sec 10 college

Taps and utensils have been stolen from the laboratory of Government Home Science College, Sector 10. A case has been registered at the Sector 3 police station on a complaint filed by the principal.

Jewellery, cash stolen

Jewellery and cash were stolen from a house in Dhanas. The complainant reported that gold and silver jewellery, and Rs 35,000 in cash were stolen from the house. A case has been registered at the Sarangpur police station.

Two attacked with knife

Two persons were attacked with a knife in Sector 25. Robin, alias Bura, reported that Sanju, alias Kancha, along with his six accomplices, attacked him and his brother Ravi near their house. A case has been registered at the Maloya police station.
