Chandigarh: A Sector 49 resident was allegedly attacked with a sharp weapon. Complainant Vikas alleged that Sujal, Kamal and two others attacked him near his house. The police have registered a case.

Man loses ~39L in cyber fraud

Chandigarh: A Sector 11 resident was duped of Rs 39.70 lakh in a case of cyber fraud. Complainant Navpinder Singh stated that someone called him up and claimed that his number was linked to terrorists. The caller deceived the complainant and compelled him to transfer the money. A case has been registered.
