Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria felicitated candidates selected in the examinations of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and various state public service commissions’ at a special ceremony organised by Sankalp-Chandigarh at Raj Bhawan here today.

On the occasion, 13 candidates were felicitated for clearing the UPSC examination and seven for their selection in the state-level public service commission examinations.

While congratulating candidates the Governor said, “With your hard work, discipline and dedication, you have not only brought laurels to your family, but also to Punjab and the entire country.”

In his address, the Governor highlighted the difficulty and dignity of the civil service. He said, “This examination is not only a test of the syllabus, but also of self-discipline, time management and mental toughness.”
