Car rams into crane, 1 dead

Chandigarh: A person was killed and another injured after the car they were travelling in rammed into a crane from the rear near the Airport light point on the night of August 14. Upender, a transporter in Sector 26, alleged that the car, driven by Suresh Kumar, a resident of Mansa, rammed into the crane from the rear at the Airport light point. Suresh and another car occupant, Gagandeep, suffered injuries in the mishap. They were admitted to the GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Suresh succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment. Chandigarh: Makhan Majra resident Bhola Kumar Paswan alleged that Sunny, Amit and David, all residents of Mauli, stole his scooter parked near his house on the night of August 12.
