Th police carried out an intensive Night Domination Drive across the city, arresting two car thieves and other miscreants.

After receiving information about two youths who had allegedly stolen a car, the police team tracked them down. After a brief chase, the two were apprehended near Sector-6 Government Hospital.

The Detective Staff team, meanwhile, arrested Anwar, a resident of Masjid Wala, near New DLF Road, after recovered a country-made pistol from his possession.

Near Jaloli Toll Plaza, the police seized 30 boxes of illegal liquor after a driver attempted to flee a checkpoint and abandoned his vehicle. Another accused, who has been identified as Balkaur Singh of Indira Colony, was arrested with two boxes of illegal liquor.
