Central Secretariat and Regional Sports Board (RSB), Kolkata today won the All India Civil Services Badminton Tournament for women and men, respectively.

In the women’s final, the Central Secretariat team easily overpowered RSB Patna 2-0. RSB Hyderabad claimed the third position by logging a 2-0 win over RSB Mumbai.

Earlier, in the semifinals, RSB Patna defeated RSB Mumbai and Central Secretariat ousted RSB Hyderabad by identical scores of 2-0 each. In the men’s final, RSB Kolkata overpowered RSB Mumbai 3-1 to win the title. The team of RSB Shimla recorded a 3-0 win over RSB Indore to claim the third position.

In semis, RSB Mumbai defeated RSB Indore 3-1, and RSB Kolkata overpowered RSB Shimla 3-1.

The championship was organised by the UT Sports Department under the aegis of Central Civil Secretariat Cultural & Sports Board (CCSCSB), Department of Personnel & Training.
