Chandigarh, July 22

The Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA) will e-auction the fancy registration numbers of a new series, ‘CH01-CF’, along with leftover special registration numbers of various previous series, from July 31 to August 2.

The registration for participation in the e-auction will start at 10 am on July 29 and will continue till 5 pm on July 30. The e-auction will start at 10 am on July 31 and end at 5 pm on August 2.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
