Chandigarh Administration demolishes boundary walls of farmhouses, nurseries

A team of the UT Estate Office on Tuesday removed boundary walls of several farmhouses, nurseries and shops during a demolition drive carried out on Dakshin Marg from Hallomajra light point to the UT boundary with Zirakpur.

CB Ojha, Chief Engineer, Chandigarh, said illegal constructions were being demolished for the widening of a slip road and construction of a 3.50-km cycle track from Hallomajra Light Point to the UT  boundary with Zirakpur.
