Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore inaugurated a mini-sports complex in Sector 27 here today.

Speaking on the occasion, Badnore said some projects got delayed due to Covid-19. Under the new UT Adviser, a 100-day programme would be made to review and overcome the delay.

The Administrator also paid homage to Milkha Singh by observing a two-minute silence. He appreciated the efforts of the sports legend for bringing the name of Chandigarh on the world map in sports activities.

UT Adviser Dharam Pal, area councillor Devinder Singh Babla and other senior officers were also present on this occasion. — TNS
