Former president of city BJP and co-in-charge of Himachal Pradesh BJP Sanjay Tandon congratulated former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani on the announcement of the government decision to confer him with the country’s highest honour, Bharat Ratna. Tandon also expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the same.

In a press statement issued today, Tandon said, “Advani did many important works in the journey of the country’s development. His guidance in getting the country out of difficult situations from time to time has been unforgettable. Advani took many historic decisions in the interest of the country by taking along every small and big worker/leader at the grassroots level and got the privilege of serving the country as Deputy Prime Minister.”

“As Home Minister and Information and Broadcasting Minister, he paced up the country’s development. Be it parliamentary matters, national unity/integrity or cultural revival, Advani has always set an example of transparency and unwavering commitment,” he added.
