Chandigarh BJP leader accuses AAP of adopting double standards
City BJP media incharge Sanjeev Rana today slammed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while terming their politics “opportunistic, deceptive, and a symbol of nationalist silence”.
“AAP presents the Congress as a promoter of corruption and terrorism in Punjab, while in Chandigarh, they are cozying up with it. Is this what they call ‘honest politics’?” questioned Rana. He also criticised AAP’s silence on the statement made by Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa, who claimed that “50 grenades have reached Punjab”.
“When Bajwa openly talks about 50 grenades coming into Punjab, why is AAP in Chandigarh silent? Do you support this statement? AAP silence is no longer just coincidental, it seems like a part of a bigger conspiracy,” he stated.

in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is
run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any
bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and
partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense
of the term.
The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
