The local boys’ U-19 cricket team bundled out at 122 in reply to Bengal’s 628 during the second day of the ongoing Cooch Behar Trophy match in Kalyani. The city lads were forced to follow-on and posted 17 for no loss, trailing by 489 runs.

Abhimanyu posted 70 off 80 balls, with 12 boundaries, for city in the match against Bengal. Rupesh Yadav (12) and Markanday Panchal (10) were the only other two to touch the double figures. Rohit returned with a five-wicket haul for 18, while Agastya Shukla and Ashutosh Kumar picked two wickets each. Earlier, Bengal’s innings was supported by a massive 332-run contribution by Chandrahas Dash. Sayan Paul also contributed with 113.
