Chandigarh, November 5

The UT Sports Department today organised a ‘prabhatpheri’ at different coaching centers, under the Fit India Campaign, to create awareness on good health among residents with the slogan ‘Adha Ghanta Roz Fitness Ka Dose’.

The initiative was taken on the directions of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Coaches, managers and players enthusiastically participated in the processions that were held across the city — at Sector 7, 16, 34, 42, 46, 56, Lake Sports Complex and Mani Majra Sports Complexes.

Director, Sports Department, inaugurated the event at the Sector 42 Sports Complex.
