Soon after, the ruckus broke out, and councilors of all the parties came together and tried to pacify the agitating councilors.

Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla appealed to both councilors to be quiet and maintain the dignity of the house, but they continued to shout at each other.

After discussion and amidst the ruckus, the agenda for issuing the tender for GIS-based Mechanized and Manual Sweeping of Southern Sectors of Chandigarh (Sectors 31-56, 61 and 63) except Behlana has been approved.
