Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Sector 26, celebrated World Homoeopathy Day yesterday on the occasion of 267th birthday of Dr Samuel Hahnemann.

Three skits were performed on the theme of life history of Dr Hahnemann, different homoeopathic medicinal personalities and different method of treatment. Tribute was given to Dr Hahnemann in form of speech and Bengali motivational song. The prizes were awarded to all meritorious students.

Dr Ankit Dubey, principal of the college, encouraged the staff and students to work for the uplift of homoeopathy. Dr PK Mittal, Secretary, HMCA, said the homoeopathic medicines had very good scope in today’s era. The programme ended with energetic performances of gidda and bhangra by students. —
