City judokas won two medals, including a gold, during the ongoing SGFI Nationals. The 18-year-old, Himanshu of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 45 won the gold medal in the 55kg category, while 17-year-old Karanpratap Singh of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 37, settled for the bronze in the 60kg event.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
