The state launch showcased the formation of a human chain of 2,000 sanitation workers, spreading the message of cleanliness through Chandigarh’s ‘Swachhata’ mascot, ‘Swachhman’. This emphasised the importance of waste segregation and symbolised the essence of cleanliness.
