A delegation of traders’ body, led by its president Sanjeev Chadha, met MC Commissioner Amit Kumar and other officials today to discuss the issue of parking during the festival season. The delegation emphasised the need for immediate steps to upgrade parking facilities and beautify city markets.
They demanded that vendors should operate only from designated vending zones or vacant grounds near markets, keeping parking spaces and the area in front of shops clear.
