Chandigarh reported another COVID-19 positive case on Thursday.

Chandigarh Municipal Corporation’s Joint Commissioner tested positive for the deadly disease.

Sorabh Arora showed no symptoms of the disease. The first floor of the corporation building has been sealed.

MC Commissioner KK Yadav and Chief Engineer Shailender Singh used to sit on the same floor. Several officials have been asked to work from home.

Arora, along with other officers was tested after Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore’s Principal Secretary, JM Balamurugan, and four others were tested COVID-19 positive recently. Though Arora was not present at the meeting with the Govenor, he was tested too.
