In view of the increasing demand for oxygen, the local Municipal Corporation has initiated the process for buying 80 oxygen concentrators.

One concentrator generates 10 litres of oxygen in a minute. The oxygen will be supplied to the UT Health Department. The Administration had asked the MC to buy the concentrators from the Covid cess fund.

The concentrators will cost about Rs1 crore to the MC. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
